Pumpkin Smoothie
This is a special holiday recipe because it is the one of few recipes we have that contains added sugar. Our pumpkin smoothie recipe should taste just like smooth iced pumpkin pie. If you can perfect this recipe you'll be able to surprise the whole family come Thanksgiving with an alternative to the normal boring pumpkin pie.
Makes two 16 oz glasses.
Add contents to blender jar in the following order:
- 1 1/2 cups of soy milk (or dairy milk)
- 1/2 scoop of vanilla protein powder (1/8 cup)
- 1 cup of canned pumpkin
- 1/4 teaspoon of cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon of nutmeg
- 2 teaspoons of brown sugar
- 6 cubes of ice
Blend until perfect consistency is achieved.
