Pineapple Smoothie
This recipe should taste like a tropical blend of pineapple and oranges. One drink of this smoothie and you'll feel like you've been whisked away to a remote desert island sitting on the beach! Our pineapple smoothie recipe is a great source of vitamin C and sometimes naughty folk have been known to add a shot of rum. Don't forget the umbrella!
Makes two 16 oz glasses.
Add contents to blender jar in the following order:
- 2 cups of soy milk (or dairy milk)
- 1/2 scoop of vanilla protein powder (1/8 cup)
- 2 cups of fresh cut pineapple
- 1 whole sliced orange
- 4 cubes of ice
Blend until perfect consistency is achieved. You may substitute pineapple and orange juice for the milk but this may taste a bit sweet. The milk helps round out the flavor and make it smooth and creamy.
