Mango Smoothie
This recipe should taste like frozen mango with a smooth hint of bananas. We don't recommend adding any mango juice to this because of all the added sugar, instead keep adding more mango slices if you prefer the smoothie to be sweeter. Our mango recipe is a great way to add beta carotene to your diet if you don't like carrots.
Makes two 16 oz glasses.
Add contents to blender jar in the following order:
- 1 1/2 cups of soy milk (or dairy milk)
- 1 full scoop of vanilla protein powder (1/8 cup)
- 1 large cut up mango (preferably the pieces have been frozen)
- 1 whole banana (preferably frozen)
- 6 cubes of ice
Blend until perfect consistency is achieved. If you ever buy more mangoes than you are able to eat fresh this is a great way to use them all up. Just make sure to cut them up and stick them in the freezer and the slices will last indefinitely.
