Blueberry Smoothie
This smoothie is strictly for the blueberry lover. Because blueberries can be expensive even when purchased frozen we recommend adding other fruit with a neutral flavor such as an apple and banana. Our blueberry smoothie recipe is a unique alternative to the other common flavors and a healthful antioxidant powerhouse. Just don't come running back to us when the Oompa Loompas have to press you after you start turning blue.
Makes two 16 oz glasses.
Add contents to blender jar in the following order:
- 2 cups soy milk (or dairy milk)
- full scoop of vanilla protein powder (1/8 cup)
- 1/2 lemon with skin to help round out the sweetness
- 2 full cups of blueberries (preferably frozen)
- 1 apple and/or 1 banana
- 4 cubes of ice
Blend until perfect consistency is achieved.
