Banana Smoothie
This recipe should taste like frozen bananas with a hint of vanilla. Although this recipe may sound plain by its name, it is in fact very smooth and exquisitely delicious. Our banana smoothie recipe is a great way to use up uneaten bananas as an alternative to making banana bread. If you buy more bananas than you can use you can just peel and freeze them and they will last indefinitely.
Makes two 16 oz glasses.
Add contents to blender jar in the following order:
- 1 1/2 cups of soy milk (or dairy milk)
- 1 full scoop of vanilla protein powder (1/8 cup)
- 2 whole frozen bananas
- 4 cubes of ice
Blend until perfect consistency is achieved. As an alternative to vanilla protein powder you may substitute chocolate or strawberry flavors as well. All combinations will taste quite pleasing.
